Mobile Food Truck opens its first restaurant in the San Fernando Valley
November 23, 2010, Los Angeles, CA – Angelenos in the Canoga Park area are in for a big treat. Merely four months after bursting onto LA’s elusive food truck scene, White Rabbit LA’s first Filipino fusion food truck has found its own “rabbit hole,” of sorts.
The owners of famous mobile food truck will open White Rabbit Cafe on Sunday, November 28, 2010, 5pm–10pm at 8316 Winnetka Ave., Canoga Park, CA 91306. Grand Opening festivities will include a live performance by Rhythm Natives, DJ JKINO spinning on the patio, free photo booth by Mugshots, desserts by Tropical Shave Ice, media coverage provided ARCHI PRUDENCIO , OISHI MEDIA and a host of other surprises for the community and fans.
As for the menu and build-out, owners Melvin Chua, James Du and Michael Dimaguila aren’t revealing details yet.
“We’ll still serve many of the favorites found on the truck, but with a couple of new specials that our customers will only find at the restaurant,” says Dimaguila.
“It’s been crazy! The restaurant biz is a big leap,” adds Chef Du. “We appreciate all the love and support we’ve had for the past several months and hope everyone will feel right at home in the new place.”
The 1,700 sq. ft. establishment is centrally located to the surrounding communities of Northridge, Sherman Oaks, Chatsworth, North Hills, and Granada Hills.
The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily. Catering is available for parties and special events. Student discounts are also available for those with proper student ID.
