White Rabbit recently received a heart breaking email a couple days ago from a family in the Philippines.
The email writes, “ This is my little nephew(angel) Jamel Pola… She has a heart disease and needs an immediate operation. She’s 1 week old from now.. Her parents cannot afford her operation worth 500k(500,000) pesos.. kindly help our little angel and save her life….. they live in Sambag Jaro, Iloilo City..may you share this to anyone you know…

Our staff immediately contacted the family to get all the details regarding the operation. This issue directly affects us because in 2008, one of our dearest friends passed away with heart disease. White Rabbit was initially founded with the goal of “introducing Filipino cuisine and culture to the masses.” We promised ourselves that with any success made with our company, we would give back to our people and country as much as possible.
In keeping up with our promise to give back, we wanted to help this family and raise the money to “SAVE BABY JAMEL”. Jamel needs 500,000 pesos which is equivalent to $10,000 USD. Starting May 1, 2025 we will have donation cans at White Rabbit Truck and White Rabbit Café. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to give baby Jamel the chance at life. For every dollar donated, White Rabbit Truck / Café will match every donation until enough money is raised to give the child necessary medical attention. Every dollar counts and time is of the essence. Please assist us with getting the word out to as many people as possible.
