L.A. Filipino Food Truck Heads to the Bay
Los Angeles, California – March 1, 2025 – With the limited radius that a gourmet food truck can travel, operators of Southern California’s original Filipino fusion truck, “White Rabbit Truck”, call on the fans and Kickstarter.com for support.
White Rabbit Truck has traveled to a great deal of locations since they first opened in July 2010; serving their Filipino fusion fare all over Southern California and have even gone as far as Las Vegas, Nevada. In the same year, White Rabbit opened a brick n’ mortar in Canoga Park, California. With so many interesting and unique dishes such as a Chicken Adobo Burrito, Tocino Tacos, White Chocolate Champorado and more, it is no wonder why White Rabbit is loved by many locals.
“We get a ton requests from fans in New York, Miami, Seattle and especially the San Francisco Bay area,” says Daly City native and co-founder Chef James Du, “but we can only take the truck so far. We would love to be able to serve all of our fans and get Filipino food out there, and hopefully Kickstarter is the key.”
Kickstarter.com is the world’s largest crowd-funding platform. The company’s stated mission is to help bring creative projects to life. “The reason why we created a Kickstarter San Francisco Tour campaign was to ensure that everybody in San Francisco, or anywhere for that matter, get the same tastes, experience and service that our fans get in Los Angeles,” says co-founder Melvin Chua.
“Our mission from day one, was, and still is to get Filipino food to the masses,” says co-founder Michael Dimaguila, “and with the help of our loyal fans and Kickstarter.com the possibilities are endless. We might even be able to bring White Rabbit to the Philippines!”
You can find the White Rabbit Truck all over Southern California and possibly on a street near you. The San Francisco Tour campaign will run from March 1 – March 31, 2014. Details of their tour can be found on their website, www.whiterabbittruck.com.
